In May 2021, we broadcast a range of events, readings, and blogs to mark the bicentenary of Napoleon's death on the island of St Helena.

On the 5th May we featured a live stream of the commemorative events on the island, organised by the Honorary French Consul.

Preceding this, on the 4th May, we left commemorative plaques at the graves of some of those who shared Napoleon's final years on Saint Helena, and screened short videos telling their stories.
